A Serious Man (Film)

A Serious Man (Film)
in Culture 7:30pm on 24th Apr, 2010 Posted by Salisbury Arts Centre

It's 1967, and Midwestern physics professor Larry Gopnik's life is falling apart - his wife leaves him, his children steal from him, his students blackmail him and his next door neighbour torments him by sunbathing in the nude. Written and directed by the ever brilliant Coen Brothers, this story of one man's exploration of faith, family and dental phenomena is laced with their trademark dark humour and oddball characters.

The Cafe bar will open at 6.15pm. Theatre Suppers will be served before this screening, including a Jewish style dish on the menu. Please reserve your table in advance by calling the box office.

A post show chat with Patrick Bliss will follow this evening's screening.

To book, call the Salisbury Arts Centre Box Office: 01722 321744
